Those that are Sent Forth (Al-Mursalat)
Verses 20-28 GROUP_1550 77.20-28
20
أَلَمْ نَخْلُقكُّم مِّن مَّاء مَّهِينٍ
Did We not create you from a humble fluid,
21
فَجَعَلْنَاهُ فِي قَرَارٍ مَّكِينٍ
then placed it in a secure repository [the womb],
22
إِلَى قَدَرٍ مَّعْلُومٍ
for an appointed term?
23
فَقَدَرْنَا فَنِعْمَ الْقَادِرُونَ
Thus We have determined the stages of development and Our power to determine is excellent indeed.
24
وَيْلٌ يَوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth!
25
أَلَمْ نَجْعَلِ الْأَرْضَ كِفَاتًا
Have We not made the earth a receptacle,
26
أَحْيَاء وَأَمْوَاتًا
for the living and the dead?
27
وَجَعَلْنَا فِيهَا رَوَاسِيَ شَامِخَاتٍ وَأَسْقَيْنَاكُم مَّاء فُرَاتًا
Have We not placed high mountains upon it and given you fresh water to drink?
28
وَيْلٌ يوْمَئِذٍ لِّلْمُكَذِّبِينَ
Woe on that Day to those who reject the truth!

Commentary
(b) The system of the present world has been so formulated that one who ponders over it sees the Hereafter in its mirror. So, there is no criminal worse than one who denies the Truth in spite of the above-mentioned scenario.
